   trying to add affiliate code that will show up in the navigation bar, but can't find anywhere to add it.

   Look under Design > Theme Editor > choose the theme you want to edit (it should default to the active theme). Look wherever your nav bar is. Since you didn't provide a link, I will assume it's either in sidebar.php or header.php.

   Thanks Joni. I'll play with it see what i can come up with - hopefully i don't mess up anything too bad

   Don't know if this would do what you want it to but how about putting your code in a text widget?
