   Hi

   I have installed wordpress on my local machine after that i am i gives the blog name and email id after that i started my procedure to do work i upload a new plugin on my machine after we have to give the Api key for that i am going to the profile
   .php for seeing my API key but i am not getting the API key my installed application.
   i am attaching the started field of my profile.php.
   please revert back to me ASAP where can i got the APi key for my installed wordprees application.

   You get the API from wordpress.COM not wordpress.ORG !!!

   Go this site: wordpress.com

   You have to sign-up with the .com site then you will receive an e-mail with your API. Your profile page at .com will also display your API.

   Remember: wordpress.com does not support or use plugins, only the API key for AKISMET and other services. For plugins you go to wordpress.org
