   Installed 2.05 and had 500 error so I installed 2.06 beta and can't see the installed themes. I've tried all the posted tricks for 2.05 including the plugin work-a-rounds and nothing works for me. Any ideas of why I'm not seeing themes in 2.06? I had a great site with 2.04 but unfortunately, had no backup - don't ask, please. Anyway to download 2.04 again?

   Thanks, I had previously checked this out. It's hard to go back and deal with possible security issues, etc., but it worked for me. My backup 2.04 is on another computer in Italy. :(

   Thanks, but I've already tried all the work-a-rounds with no success. How come the archives aren't updated with the last versions? Granted, going back is not perfect, but I need this site up and running. I tried 2.06 and it worked beautifully for half a day and then mysteriously broke.SOMEONE surely has 2.04 that they can post in the archives?

   yeah, ixwebhosting with linux, and apache server

    Can't tell you what plan was involved but have installed WordPress 2.0.5 six times on ixwebhosting in the last 6 weeks and have had no complaints.

    This is just an FYI comment.

    FYI, I have available every distro beginning with 1.5 forward. Anyone who needs something either not available on the archives or who doesn't want to mess with svn, you may email me and I'll send along the distro you need. vkaryl_at_bytehaven*dot*com....
