Assuming you have Akismet activated, you could also use an additional spam plugin for comments. I use Cookies for Comments along with Akismet. Some folks like Bad Behavior. There are others as well so it’s a matter of mixing and matching what combo works best for you.
I’ll install that plugin as well but I’m still curious as to what type of page this is, where the comment box still show?
Do you use a cache plugin, refresh the cache.

I turned off comments on all posts but I’m still getting these spam emails to these types of pages with comments enabled. How do I deal with this? I do have Akismet installed.
