i was wondering where the pages in this theme are displayed, cause mine are visible nowhere. shouldnt they be in the grey stripe on top?

Add a widget to the sidebar. Your current theme probably doesn't have that navigation bar at the top.
Or you can change the theme.

edit: problem solved. this theme creates menus not automaticaly

Glad you found the solution! Now, please use the dropdown at top right to mark this topic 'Resolved'.
But what is the resolution? The theme used to support Pages as a navigation menu. The Menu widget says that it will put those in the sidebar. I don't want it in the sidebar. I want it across the top as it was before I upgraded. I love the theme and don't want to switch!
You don't need to add a widget. Just go to appearance - menus and make a menu. It will be visible in the normal place.
