• Been trying to look around frantically for a solution but have found none so far!

I’ve been trying to activate the “bluedark” theme on my server but I keep getting the error message

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 216115 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/primacognos.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/cache.php on line 48

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 0 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

This is because my server can only allocate 8Megs for processing.

I can’t seem to find where the settings for the currently active theme are stored. Does anyone know where? I need this to manually activate the theme.

  • Your php.ini file has the default limit of 8MB of script memory. You’ll need to contact your hosting server tech support and get it increased to something better. 16Mb maybe.
