   I can't seem to find "screen options" in the new wordpress.

   I'm new to wordpress but all of the documentation tells me that the screen options and help button is right below the user name at the top right of the screen as a "hanging tab" as this document suggests:

   There is no hanging tab whatsoever. I'm trying to turn on "custom fields". Can anyone tell me if this has moved or the procedure for this has changed?

   The Screen Options tab hasn't moved. It's still at the same location.

   I can't see the tabs, how do I access it? I must be missing something...

   Should be there, just below the 'howdy' text — I've got 3.2.1 installed and see both 'Screen Options' and 'Help' exactly as before.

   Could it be those notifications you've got? Try getting rid of the Akismet warning and the Jetpack banner to see if it helps. Might be a style clash.

   I have taken off the screen options for the dates but it still shows.
   
   I saved it. Dont understand why it still shows.
