I don’t understand how to find my permalink URLs. Also, I would like a link to the permalink to appear beneath each of my posts, so people can link to it. I haven’t changed the structure or anything about the permalinks.

There are monthly archives, but I can’t find anything for each individual post. Perhaps WordPress doesn’t do that?

Not seeing your site and not knowing which theme you are using it’s difficult to answer. As a generic rule: the title of your post is the premalink. Different themes could display it in another place, too.

OK, I see. I didn’t know that. Is there a way to make it clearer? Like a link that says Permalink at the bottom of the post? Should I look at different themes?

That’s one option. E.g here http://themes.wordpress.net/theme-viewer.php
The other option: take a look at the template tags – http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags especially Section 9, Permalink tags, and see how to insert one of those in your theme.
