my hosting provider, powweb, installed wordpress for me. I asked them to keep my current website up while I work on wordpress.

After that, I logged onto /wp-admin, created some great pages with customizr, and now want to switch my website to the wordpress one.

I contacted powweb for their assistance and they asked where my wordpress files are located. since they set it up- I had no idea. And since they don't know- my question to this support community is- where do I find the files I created using customizr?

(And secondly- how to I switch my website so that wordpress will show rather than my old website?)

    Thanks!!

That's a strange response from your hosting provider!

They should at least know where they installed WP. Can you use FTP, such as Filezilla or maybe they have their own ftp browser you can access from a Control Panel?

Once you've located the root directory, (may be /, /htdocs, /public_html for example). Under that there may be a /wordpress directory. And then you should see the standard WP files that look something like:

    - dir: wp-admin
    - dir: wp-content
    - dir: wp-includes
    - files: such as .htaccess, wp-*.php etc)

customizr is stored under the wp-content folder at:
    /wp-content/themes/customizr

Sort that out first and then come back for more.

    Thanks rdell!

    I found the /wp-content/themes/customizr

Are there files for each page created on the website?

And now that I found the files, any assistance on switching my website so that the wordpress site shows rather than the site that's currently on my domain?

    Thanks,
    Lindsey
