    Hi all,

I added a new site to my network and am testing it on my own computer (drivers host file points to the network IP)

I exported a standalone WP and imported it in the new site.

    All works fine :)

I now want to change an image in my post, I never used the WP upload facilities but always FTP-ed my images to my main root.

So now I have an image in my post that is html coded in my post and shows up in my browser as:
    http://www.mydomain.com/image.jpg

Where on my server do I find this http://www.mydomain.com/image.jpg, so I can replace it (override by ftp) with another image?

I don't see it in the wp-content/uploads/sites/ folders.

Setup of sites is done like:http://www.mainmaster.com/mydomain

    Thanks!

    It would be at /

That is your main root folder for your site. It's not something you uploaded in WordPress. Unless you changed WP's file locations (which you should not do, ever, leave the defaults alone), it will write to:

    /wp-content/uploads/ - main site
    /wp-content/uploads/sites/2/ - site 2 (and so on)

    Thanks Mika,

Took me a while to figure out that "at /" was the root folder of the main domain I pointed the new parked domain to (new to the network that is).

Uploading through WP puts the images like you said in the uploads, so all is good :)
