   I'd rather not use somewhere like guru, elance, digitalpoint, or any job listing website, but does anywhere know of a forum where wordpress coders can get work, or where webmasters can hire a coder to do some theme modding?

   THanks for any help!

   1. You can post the brief description of the job, together with a contact address - see Forum Rules, section F.

   2. Alternatively, you can subscribe to the wp-pro mailing list and ask for bids:

   Moshu, the rules seem to be against what you described: "If you have posted contact information your thread will be closed... We are not against paid services but these forums are not the right place for them."

   Is that right?

   It will be closed to avoid the "bidding war" here in the forum; those interested can contact you privately at the address you post.
   What that line says: it is not the right place to OFFER paid services.
