• I submitted a plugin on Sunday to be hosted on the WordPress Subversion repository. I was wondering how long it would be before I would get my access information.

Did you bother searching? Someone asks this once or twice a week.
You’ll get it when they get around to it. It’s a manual process that is done for free.
Mine all took less than a day. I’ve heard some people say it took a week or so for them.
You use your same password for SVN as for wordpress.org

it will take between 1 day to 1 month if I am not wrong, hallsofmontezuma you are lucky to get it within 1 day. lol It took 3 weeks for mine.

GamerZ, I guess my plugins just happened to be requested whenever the admins were close to going through the requests again.

Jason, in the meantime, continue work on your plugin while you wait, and on your plugin site if you have one. In the future I suggest doing a search before posting. You’ll see how frustrating it is once you release your plugin and have 2534 people asking the same question without doing even a simple search first.

@hallsofmontezuma totally agreed! yea, i have been frustrated since the day my plugins went public a few years back till now and I am still frustrated.

Common problems is people do not search and do not read the readme.
