    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

When you share a post on Facebook, or when Jetpack Publicize publishes a post to your Facebook page, Facebook crawls the page and looks for Open Graph meta tags in the head to build a complete post preview (with an image, title, description, …).

Jetpack automatically adds these Open Graph meta tags to your site, unless you already use another Open Graph plugin.

Looking at your site, you seem to be using the All In One SEO Pack plugin, that includes a module named “Social Meta”. If you activate this module, the plugin will add Meta Tags to your posts that Facebook will be able to use to generate a post preview.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you. I had looked at some of your other forum conversations regarding this matter but I couldn’t find anything in relation to the open graph meta tags so I wasn’t 100% sure that I was making the correct changes. However, things are working correctly now.

Can I make a suggestion… You might want to include that once you have made the necessary changes like mine that it doesn’t change or add the open graph meta tags to previous blog posts. I actually went back and tried to share an old blog post and it still did not work correctly. Then I happen to think… and I created a new blog post and it was publicized correctly on Facebook.

    Thanks again, Char

I have been having the same issue for some time and had looked at other forums to try to resolve my issue. This forum finally gave me the answer I needed. Installed All In One SEO and problem solved! Thanks so much for the insight!

(I deleted the test post but it worked great.)
