How do I break up a post with that "continue reading" thing that Moveable Type? What I mean is, how do I spilt the posts so that the whole post doesn't take up the whole page if it's long?

Use the
<!--more-->tag that's built in?While editing/writing the post, move your mouse over those little buttons on top of the post editor. You'll see one of 'em will add that "more" tag for ya.
