Hi! When I type in my URL, which is http://www.hybarmedia.com, I am directed to a post and not a page. I have a feeling this was a step I missed in the set up process.
Can somebody please help?

create a blank page name the page what what you want as this will be your post page and publish no content.
Click on Settings Reading and select static page
front page select the page you want as front page
post page select the blank page you created and save -

I have one more issue -- In the header, the text that says "PerfectBiz" is from the template. The tagline is correct, but I can't find where to edit that headline text, or if it's a separate image. Any ideas??

That is a image named logo.png and the image in yourtheme/images folder
you can replace that if you wish by creating your own logo name it same and keep same size and replace logo.png you have in images folderunder the image I see text and looks like coming form your header.php file

Posted 9 months ago #Okay, so I recreated the logo.png file in the theme/images folder. I refreshed the page, and it's still the Perfect Biz logo... Do I need to reinstall the theme or something?

You need browse to your theme which is in theme folder and in tthe folder you will see images folder and in there will be logo.png that is Perfect Biz you need replace logo image

Posted 9 months ago #Sorry, maybe I didn't phrase that correctly.
On my desktop, I went into the theme folder. In the theme folder, I went into the images folder. Then, I replaced the "logo.png" file with the correct logo, and left the size and everything the same.
However, my site is still showing the old PerfectBiz logo. I changed the file on my desktop and that didn't work, so do I need to change it somewhere in WP?

In your themes folder there should be theme1180 in there there see if you have images folder and that is where you will find logo.png it is this file needs to replaced

Posted 9 months ago #I replaced the "logo.png" file that's in the theme 1180 images folder on my desktop. When I navigate to that file on through Finder, it is the correct, updated logo. So why isn't it showing up in wordpress?

needs to be replaced on server not desktop as your website can be seen from server not desktop
using ftp upload the file in wp-content/themes/theme1180/images/logo.png and overwrite -
