    Hi,

    My blog – http://www.sublimeoblivion.com/

Whenever I try to Add New Link, it assigns it to the “Blogroll” category – despite me ticking that I want to assign it to another category, such as “Russia Blogs” or “Humor” or etc.

Could you please give any advice as to how I can resolve this annoying issue? I’m stumped atm.

    Thanks.

On further reflection it seems that the issue is that I can’t change the Categories of links at all.

I.e. so any newly created links go into the default “Blogroll” cat.

If I want to change a link, from, say, “Economics”, to “Humor”, it won’t let me do that.

Well what I can do is go to my Default Link Category, and change it to the category I want to post a link to.

Still, it’s circuitous and I don’t want to be stuck doing it forever. I’d like to get the system working as it’s supposed to.

Anyway, pardon for the monolog. I’m out.

I was having a similar problem. I discovered that if you go into Appearance/Widgets you can drag and drop the Links widget to your sidebar and your categories will display. You must have at least one link assigned to a given cat. for the cat to display
