   When I publish a post it always fails. A draft is saved though and I can go back in and then click on publish and then it will work.

   This behaviour started with 2.9 I was hoping it would be fixed with 2.9.1

   Is there a way to fix it or will I have to wait until the next version.

   So no one else has the same problem then?

   Strange because I have multiple WP installations and it is the same with all of them.

   I'm having the same problem with my blog running 2.9.2. This is a new blog so I haven't run it pre 2.9 so I can't tell you if it is only since 2.9. Are all your blogs hosted with the same provider? Mind if I ask which web host you are using?

   Had the same problem. Disabling plugin "Twitter Tools" fixed it. (See here for more details: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/343079) I installed "WP to Twitter" instead.

   I have the blogs hosted with Godaddy

   Still have the problem - got around it by using blogo to post to the Blog

   I will try disabling the Twitter tools and see how that goes

   had another problem occur today with a brand new blog as well as with an older blog.

   Got rid of Twitter Tools and the other problem which was an inablity to post any mp3 podcasts onto a blog post and an error message - class-json.php to do with line 115

   That prob has gone but the other where a post fails on the first attempt is still with me.

   I might take off all of the plugins and try it putting back one at a time. that might do the job.
