ok so this is a second question.
When I post a link to my website (home page)on Facebook it shows the picture (correct) and a text. So it is working BUT I cannot find that text that has been shown under my link anywhere in my wordpress to change it if I want. It is NOT the text that is in my homepage (that everybody can see). I looked at home, about, etc in wordpress and cannot find it- tried on the "all in one SEO" to see if it could possibly be there and it is not...
If helps..the person who did my website may have used my old website home picture so maybe it got "carried" to the new one in WP
I am sorry if it is confused but I am new here and to WP...I am doing everything by myself for about a year and I really appreciate your help.

Posted 5 months ago #For mine, it shows site title, which is the text "that is in my homepage (that everybody can see)." That text can be changed when you login as admin and go to "settings." Under general settings there is a "site title." That "site title" is the text shown on facebook when I put a link to my wordpress homepage.
Perhaps you old home picture has a text already, so the person who did your website somehow made the site title invisible, but the site title text is used when you show your site on facebook.
