When I log in to my dashboard, I see the number of pending comments (1) and spam comments (3), but when I click on either of those, it brings up EVERY SINGLE COMMENT on my site… over 1,000! I cannot go through all of them to find the 3, so I don’t understand why this is happening? Does anybody know?

    Thanks!

Do you have the Akismet plugin installed and activated? If so, which version?

Hi, James. I just realized that it was caused by my “IntenseDebate” comment plugin. I deactivated that and re-activated my “Disqus” comment plugin and everything is working fine.

Yes, I have Akismet, and I LOVE it, but apparently it was my commenting plugin. I’ve seen IntenseDebate on many other sites, but apparently I can’t get it to work on mine.

P.S. On a slightly different topic: Are you aware of any known issues with some widgets for WordPress 3.0.1 showing on Vista but not Windows 7? Just curious because my e-referrer widget nor my Feejit widget won’t show on Windows 7 (my home PC), but I can view them both on Vista at work.

Just thought I’d ask since I have a “tech wizard” to talk to. 😉

It might be something easy to fix, or a bug they’re not aware of. You should definitely contact them: http://support.intensedebate.com/contact

That shouldn’t happen. It’s probably a browser issue. Have you tried in any other browsers?

Thanks, I will contact IntenseDebate and ask if they know of any known bugs.

Regarding the browsers, I use Firefox 3.6.3 on both my home PC & work PC, but I cannot see those two Widgets on my home PC in Firefox.

I will do some research and figure it out eventually, but I do really thank you for your help. I’m marking this thread as Solved. Thanks again!

    You’re welcome!

While you’re testing browsers don’t forget about any extensions that you may have active in your home copy of Firefox.
