When clicking a thumb a popup is showing too

    Hi Seth,

    I have installed your SM Gallery plugin and made a test page with a few images, see http://kc-shertogenbosch.nl/wordpress/test-galleria/.

    When you click on a thumb, not only the image is loaded in the frame, but also a popup is shown with a large(r) version of the image. This is not what I want.

    Normally I use the gallery that’s included in the theme, but my client doesn’t like that one and wants a gallery like yours. Perhaps there is a conflict with other js, but I am not a js professional, so…

    Can you help please?

    you must have another plugin like lightbox or colorbox installed that automatically shows a lightbox… this is conflicting and automatically adding the pop up window to the gallery area. I have no way to disable this from within SM Gallery, you would have the reconfigure/disable the other plugin.

    I’m afraid I don’t know which plugin that might be as it is a complete theme with all different kinds of js included. And I am not sure if I can uninstall whatever js without causing damage to the rest of the site…

    Is there something you can do – maybe with one line of code adding to your plugin – that prevents the popup from showing up?

    For the rest the slidewhow seems to work well and I am sure my client will like it very much…

    I’m sorry, but as I have already indicated, I cannot undo what your theme or other plugins are doing on your site. It just doesn’t work like that. You have JavaScript that has attached itself to all images with hyperlinks, I can’t un-link the script your running. Good luck.

    Than I’m afraid I will have to find another gallery. What a pitty 😉
