I’m using TwentyTen to create a five-page site. I’ve created a three-column table on my home page that I’ve set to 500 pixels in width. Each column contains a java applet that is working perfectly.

But when I view it, the table seems much wider than 500 pixels. You can actually see what looks like a gray outline of the table stretched over into the right sidebar.

I’ve tried adjusting the table width with the HTML settings but it won’t change.

    Check it out here: http://www.leapgamers.com/leapsite/

I’m using a child template but, at this point, it contains nothing except the “test” command to change the top heading text green. Is it possible the TwentyTen theme’s style.css is keeping the table locked somehow???

    Any help appreciated.

  • You can only specify the minimum width of a table column. That does not prevent it from expanding beyond what you have specified if necessary. You have three iframes in there that are set to 200px wide each, so the table expands to accommodate them.

Ah. Of course! I changed them to 160 and all is well. Thanks a lot!
