I've always appreciated the meticulous filtering of spam that Akismet does for my blog, however lately it seems to have fallen asleep on the job.
I'm getting absolutely flooded with spam. Stuff like this: "Thank you, I have recently been looking for info about this topic for ages and yours is the greatest." And of course, there is the included link to a business or inappropriate website.
What's going on here? Any suggestions?
