Hello,
I would like to use wordpress as the backbone of my site, to manage its content and pages structure etc, but on the homepage, I'd like to have a big HTML 5 widget to be the main "console" displaying the latest posts with animations, etc.
I need to create the widget with "placeholder" code for the latest posts, to tell it what to fetch and display. Where do I get the code tell the widget to display the last post? Or second last post? Or post from category x? Or the picture from the post?
