    Dont see it in the control panel or html. Thanks

    It's a good thing that you don't see it in your HTML. Why let hackers know what version of WordPress you are using. Normally the version is shown on every wp-admin Page on the bottom right. You can also check the version on the "Right Now" metabox in the dashboard or in this file: /wp-includes/version.php
