I'm trying to transfer my wordpress.com blog to a self-hosted wordpress.org. I have been paying mapping on the .com and I installed the WP software on that SAME domain. Now to export/import info I cannot access the wp-admin for WP.org because everytime that I enter the url it takes me to the wp.com blog. Do I have to cancel the mapping on .com to be able to access the admin at .org and import the info from the .com blog?
I hope there's not too many .com and .org to make it difficult to understand.
You need to speak to the folks over at wordpress.com.

thank you very much esmi, but they told me exactly the same at WP.com
maybe I can reformulate my question and say: how do i access my new wordpress.ORG admin info when I have already my domain mapped with something else? In this case wordpress.com
When I try to access http://www.mydomain.com where I installed the wordpress with bluehost it takes me to the WP.com blog because I paid them to do that.
You need to change name servers at registrar (wordpress.com if they registered your domain name.) so that your domain name points to blue host

Thank you very much govpatel!
I already changed my domain servers to point at BlueHost since yesterday.
When I erase the Cache I could finally access the .org account, but after a while it redirects again to WP.com I think the only way is to delete the mapping from WP.com to avoid that wp.com redirects the domain to their blog.
In any case I don't have to pay any fee for mapping since the wp.org software was installed on my domain right? So I don't need the mapping from wp.com
It takes a day or two to propagate fully in network

thank you very much govpatel!
I´ll try to be patient and wait! it's still redirecting me to the old site, but apparently is now a servers problem, because I can reach it on some computers but not in others.
