Hey, guys! Who can give me some guide what shall I do with this?
I'm building my site with wordpress (just basic) even though I haven't finished my website and all the data preparation yet, but I wanna began to do publication advertisement with my firm's service and name. But apparently I don't want people visit it and see the unfinished content now. So I mean I want that someone visit my website and see the page saying that we're preparing for the open, it gonna be *****... you know... who has any idea how to do this??? btw.. I have little knowledge with programming ;(

  2. What you want to do is create an index.html in your root and just have the coming soon text.

Then in a folder, say call it wordpress or wp, you install WordPress there and build your site. When you are ready to move it, you can follow the instructions here.

  4. The solution provided by Bog Bagel is probably easier for you.. I didn't even know those plugins were around. :)
