• I’m confused on something…. I have my blog set up to display only category 1 on the main page (which I thought was index.php?). So if you go to http://www.moltenwords.net you always see the most recent post from category 1. Then when I add a post to category 2 and View Site, it takes me to moltenwords.net/index.php and then it shows me that new category 2 post. But if I remove index.php, it takes me back to the page as it’s supposed to be, with just category 1.
So what page is displaying when I go to http://www.moltenwords.net if it isn’t index.php? I thought index.php is the default if no other page is called? Does this make sense?

I have no idea… what is it? how would I tell?

Yes… you probably are using mod_rewrite. What it is doing is taking all your requests for “/” and rewriting them to “/index.php?var1=this&var2=that”
I would have to see the rules to diagnose the problem. I’m not that good at figuring it out yet.

It’s not really a problem, since everyone gets directed to the right page, since I always use just the moltenwords.net address and not index.php, but it’s really just a confusion on how it’s doing it and wanting to understand…
    Thanks!
