   Hi,
   I've changed the design of header_footer.jpg and renamed to new_header_footer.jpg and modified the style.css file:

   /* header START
   background:url(img/new_header_footer.jpg) 0 0 no-repeat;
   height:136px;

   I've also dropped in the new_header_footer.jpg in ../img folder.
   However I don't see the changes refelcted on the site. Are there any other files that need to be updated?

   Nope, That should do it. Try a hard refresh ( control + F5 on windows ) that will force your browser to download everything again and you should see your updated image.
