I've been looking for a new theme for my wordpress blog and several times now I've installed a theme only to "view site" and fine a white page with noting but this on it:

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"

What is this error, and how can I resolve it so I can use these themes?? BTW, I have been able to install and use some themes, but the ones I really like, of course, give me this error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Slight was the last one I tried that displayed this error.

was the last one
that would confirmed some curiosity, try disabling all your active plugins.
