What is the best RSS parser for WordPress (10 posts)

Hi, just looking for recommendations for a good RSS parser for WordPress that has alot of uses to collate and display up to date news on my WordPress site.

Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks a bunch.

Thanks! It must be cool for all the news to just show on my blog without me doing a thing...I heard of Magpie RSS, but dunno if its the best or even usable for WordPress.

Time for me to start learning more..RSS is kinda confusing right now:-)

My favorite is SimplePie (http://simplepie.org/). They have a WP plugin under their "Download" tab.

Ya I'd definitely say go with SimplePie - I've used that for other projects and it's extremely nice and good.

Or you could install the runPHP plugin, sign up to FeedDigest, 'burn' a feed through FeedDigest, grab the php code for your feed, and - with runPHP activated for your post or page - paste in the code. Works a treat. And in FeedDigest, you can alter how your feed will appear on your WP site. Much easier solution, in my view, than SimplePie and other parsers.
