What is the best Custom Content Type plugin?

I have been trying all these different Custom Content Type plugins and it seems like they all just suck.

I read multiple blog articles about how great Flutter was. I tried it and it was pretty horrible. I would get my content to show up on some write panels but then on others it just wouldn’t work at all, even though my PHP code was exactly the same.

Then I read about Magic Fields, that was supposed to be an improved branch of Flutter. I gave that a go, but similar issues.

I’ve tried a few more out there but it just doesn’t seem like any of them are any good. Like they all seem like they are ‘beta’ or even ‘alpha’ products and are not even close to being ready for prime time.

All I’m looking for is a plugin that allows me to add some basic custom content types to my pages so that my client doesn’t have to fudge with HTML if they want to change an image in my custom theme I’m designing for them…

Surely there must be a good plugin for this out there… Anyone know?
