Support » Themes and Templates » What is causing my vertical page shift?

  • Hello all and thank you for checking this thread. I am new to web design and wordpress, have a small aesthetic problem on one of my projects, and am looking for some clarification.

    When I navigate from index.php or archives.php to one of my six static pages, a vertical shift of the entire page occurs. What is causing this? Solutions are welcome as well!

    Here is my url.

    Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • you do realize the other pages require scrolling right? the appearing of a scroll bar will cause a slight shift…

    if it is a big deal to you insert this into your style css under your body declaration:

    min-height:120%;

    if it is not what your referring to, my browser is missing it..

    drewactual,

    I definitely realize that a shift can occur when a scrollbar appears. I believe that would cause a shift left or right though. The page shift that occurs on my site is vertical.

    The easiest way to see it is when on the home page, click to the store page. As the store page is loading, watch the logo and you will see it shifts down. I have tested this in firefox, opera and safari as well as safari on the iphone. I’m not sure what browser you are using but the shift, though minimal, should be there.

    Thanks for your help.
