    Thank you kindly for the reply. What I understand is that it says this doc is not a valid DOC type.

    Do I insert this:

    "<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
    <head>
    "
    into the main page. If so where. I am a bit lost. Any help would be very much appreciated

    The DOC type declaration should be the very first thing listed in header.php

    I also see you have the Google Analytics code inserted at the top. It doesn't go there. It is normally inserted right before the closing </body> tag in footer.php

    There are many other errors but the W3C Validator should help you to correct them.
