How can I use this plugin without the Cloudfront etc. I’ve disabled stats and everything that I’m allowed to disconnect. Yet I’m still seeing cloudfront.

How do I get rid of the edit button?

I used this plugin about 2 years ago it was so much cleaner now it seems all about pushing Zemanta and all the settings are locked until you so called “turn it on”.

Where can I find an archive login of the over plugin before the Zemanta bloat?

    Thanks

The dev’s seem to intentionally make it easy for us to make necessary changes.

I was able to open the files and change since I don’t plan on messing with settings.

Thanks for being thoughtful when coding. I won’t go into detail as it would probably undermine the intended way for the plugin to work and also I can see the advantages of storing styles remotely for the majority of users. At least its being done in a performance oriented manner.

    Hey!

Well, it is true, we have our own vision on how to develop our plugin (now and in the future), and we definitely want our users to have the control on how the related posts behave/look like on their blog. We really want them to help out!

But as you mentioned above, to do so, for the majority of our users, we just have to develop our plugin the way we think it’s best. Is there room for improvement? Yes, always, but sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the features & bugs that are coming along our way. But rest assured that we are working hard to attend to them as soon as possible.

For now, I’d recommend you to download the older version of our plugin, which doesn’t use the services of Cloudfront yet. You can get it (v1.2.1.) at the developers tab of our plugin.

As always — your feedback is always more than welcome!

Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo
