• When I click on RSS, I no longer get the WordPress page, with options such as Live Bookmarks.

Instead, I get a Google page inviting me to add stuff to a Google home page or to share stuff with “friends” I’ve never heard of.

    What’s going on here?

  • Did you set your RSS reader to be Google Personalized Home?

No. I set it to be Live Bookmark.

The problem turns out to be with Firefox (2.0.0.12). Everything works fine with IE 7 and Opera 9.25. (I decided to think outside the box and check them too.)

I cleared my Live Bookmark on Firefox and cleared private data. It still went to Google.

After some more thinking, I went to Firefox’s Tools>Options>Feeds, and selected “No Application Selected.” That corrected the problem.

The puzzling thing is that it went to Google before I deleted the Live Bookmark, and continued to go there after I deleted it.

Anyway, problem solved. Thanks for the one response, anyway.
