   Hello,

   Recently upgraded my WP site to 2.8

   There is an error msg:

   What does this error mean and how can I fix it?

   The dashboard navigation menu is missing is missing. This prevents me from editing my homepage, my right hand column, etc.

   Plug in menu is not viewable/is absent.

   Site functions but is quite handicapped as a result of serious upgrade problems.

   Please help!

   Things to try:

   Reupload and manually reupgrade again. You may have missing or corrupted files. See:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended

   Try disabling your plugins and switching to the default theme to see if this fixes anything. If you can't get into the admin, delete the plugins and/or theme with ftp (back them up to your computer first).
