   Hi
   I'm wanting to be able to set post_status to "open" on certain posts for a script I'm writing. Instead of just "private" and "publish". I just wondered if the private and publish states were set in stone and what (if any) the ramifications would be of adding a third type called "open".?

   Anyone got any ideas?
