I can’t find any link anywhere to screenshots or live demos of what the frontend display shows, just backend. I’d like to see how this looks to the frontend user, if I chose to display it on the site.

I have an idea to use this to input books, if I customize all the fields and such…it looks doable, but my biggest concern is how it works on the frontend since I want my visitors to be able to search of the database to find books that meet their needs.

Also, is there an option for images? I don’t see anything yet about that either…or is this all text?

I am not a coder, so I need the plugins to do the coding for me. So far this is looking very promising!

You can do all of those things, but to get it to look the way you want, you will probably have to tweak the CSS. This is not so much a plug-and-play plugin, it requires quite a bit of configuration, but all the features you want are present. I suggest you install the plugin and see how it works on a non-public page.

I don’t show screenshots of the frontend list because it is going to look different depending on the theme you are using.

    Hi there,

I have a similar requirement. Looking to build a database of with a front end search form – say a drop down box of locations, checkboxes of skills and a free text field – that lets visitors view a list of participants that match these criteria.

Have installed plugin but can find no reference to this sort of functionality – does it exist out of the box (as handy shortcodes perhaps) or is it going to need a lot of custom coding?

    Many thanks.

No, this kind of search capability requires custom code. The built-in search is on one field at a time only.

    ok, thanks.
