   I'm in the process of installing the Yahoo Weather plugin and have completed steps 1. and 2. the last one is this:

   3. Chmod 'cache' directory to 777 in /wp-content/plugins/yahoo-weather (/wp-content/plugins/yahoo-weather/cache)

   Does this mean i change the word "cache" to "777"? or just type "777" after the word "cache"? Or something else, thank you.

   chmod == "change mode"

   The instructions are telling you to change the permissions on that cache directory to 777, which means anyone can read, write, or execute. It is a very dangerous setting. I hope the instructions tell you to change that to something else later on.
