I am getting an error approving a pingback but before I waste time trying to solve it, what is the use in approving pingbacks? Does it add a link to the referring article to my article or what? Just wondering what the use is here.

    My specific error is
"Notice: Use of undefined constant WP_NETWORK_ADMIN - assumed 'WP_NETWORK_ADMIN' in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/google/lib/class_wdgpo_admin_pages.php on line 60 1319290630"

I don't know and I would like to know too - I just googled "what does approving a wordpress pingback do" to get here.

As far as I can see a pingback gives you a backlink and approving the pingback creates a reciprocal backlink?

Hopefully google recognizes these as different to normal reciprocal link exchanges?

That looks to be a problem with one of your plugins.
