   Both look really great.
   The only thing is that the flash menu doesn't have a transparent background for me in IE.
   I really like the post author/category icons. They add a lot. Your header on the lapsed site is gorgeous.

   on Lapsed, the text colors look very nice on the dark background. On the CONTACT page of it, is there any way you can darken the background of the Comments form? It's too stark white in contrast.

   I think if I looked at these sites often, I might get tired of the category-images, they're kind of fluffy/Mac'ish and repetitive; although on first look they appear as a nice touch, in a way.
