    1. My main site of my network is epikbuzz.net

    2. I have an add-on site, called zackwang.com. I have setup and configured properly with no problems. (Subdomain network address is zackwang.epikbuzz.net)

    3. I want to add lettersto.zackwang.com to the multisite network. (Subdomain network address is letterstozackwang.epikbuzz.net)

I am hosted on Site5. In my Cpanel, epikbuzz.net is the primary domain with the root directory of 'public_html'. zackwang.com is an add-on domain with the same root directory of 'public_html'.

I've tried a few combinations but they're not working out. Please help me - what are the correct DNS records I should be using? Thanks!

You need the domain mapping plugin.

Thanks Andrea, I've already got the domain mapping plugin installed. My first add-on site to the network (zackwang.com) has been set up with the plugin and is working perfectly. I want to add lettersto.zackwang.com as a 2nd add-on site to the network. Appreciate your advice, thanks!

    so you want:

subdomain.domain.com and subdomain.domain2.com to point to the same install?

    subdomain.domain2.com CNAME subdomain.domain.com

If you want to map a subdomain of your domain mapped domains... you use the same plugin and use a CNAME record.

Or, you could have used a multiple network plugin.

Thanks mdevaney and Andrea. I really appreciate you taking the time to help out a newbie.

Actually I want domain2.com and subdomain.domain2.com to point to the same install. I've made subdomain.domain2.com CNAME subdomain.primarydomain.com but I get redirected to a default hosting page. See http://lettersto.zackwang.com. Any idea where I'm going wrong? In the meantime I'm going to check with my web host. Thanks

you have to do more on the server side, so it know what folder to send requests fro that subdomains. in cpanel, its parking. otherwise, make a serveralias.

That was it! I had tried adding a subdomain in cpanel but it didn't work. The parked domain did the trick. Thanks Andrea :)
