   Hi, I just wondered how I can view stats on who has visitied my blog ? When I used wordpress.com there was a panel, but now I have moved over to .org I am not sure if I have to download plugins to capture this information ? Please could someone advise, Thanks, Nick

   I would suggest using Google Analytics to track your blog stats, then use this plugin with a Google Analytics account: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/

   there are many plugins to use.

   You can use the wordpress.com stat engine with this plugin:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/
   it uses the wordpress.com api, you get the api by registering your self hosted blog on wordpress.com

   my favourite stats plugin is:
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/statpress-seolution/

   but you can search for lots of plugins
