   As you can undoubtly derive from my question I'm a newby to WordPress. It looks very promising though. I'm looking into a theme that I can use for my website but it looks like the menaing of columns in themes are to be kept secret ;-) I searched the forum, found tons of results but none to explain what columns are Can anyone enlighten me please?

   Columns refer to the way in which the site's content is displayed on the page. You can search for themes by column using the Theme Repository's tag filter.

   Column 1 (Left Sidebar) | Column 2 (Content)

   3 Column Theme
   Column 1 (Left Sidebar) | Column 2 (Content) | Column 3 (Right Sidebar)
   OR
   Column 1 (Left Sidebar) | Column 2 (Left Sidebar #2) | Column 3 (Content)
