Hi there,
GP definitely supports child themes.
Can you link me to your website so I can take a look at what’s happening?
Thanks,
Tom

Sorry I forgot to link it.

Hi,
It’s not necessary to import anything in your child theme – import can be slow so GeneratePress checks if you’re using a child theme and enqueues the parent stylesheet automatically.
If you remove that import you shouldn’t have any issues 🙂
Let me know,
Tom
I completely reinstalled GeneratePress, created a new child, and changed two or three things in the child theme style sheet and walked away without it having worked. A day and a half later….the changes worked. I got rid of my changes in the child style sheet. The changes do not go away. This leads me to believe it is related to caching from the site. I opened in a different web browser and got the same thing. I’m looking into it. Thanks for the import tip. Should I erase the automatically generated import statement at the top of the child theme style sheet?

Sounds like caching is the culprit for sure.
Yes, you can delete that import statement, as GP does it for you more efficiently 🙂
Thanks,
Tom
Turning off caching in my Cpanel appears to let my child theme styles work as expected now. Thanks for your help.
