Hi guys i get the following error message.

We're having a little trouble selecting the proper database for WordPress.

    * Are you sure it exists?
    * Your database name is currently specified as wordpress. Is this correct?
    * On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?

Any assitance please :) thxs in advance.

Are you meant to create a database first in phpmyadmin and upload it to wordpress folder within your site ?

    Yes.
You need to create the database name if you can have multiple db's.

Are you using a CPanel ?
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_cPanel

You are so close.....I'd say you need to prefix the name of the database with something.

    You don't install cpanel - it's a hosting thing.

If you have some sort of login to handle your website, check there - the db_name could be the name you gave your host.
