• Hi all,
The first of my posts doesn’t want to fit in the content frame in Firefox (works fine in IE). It is exactly identical to the following post, except for the content which shouldn’t be the problem, yet it behaves differently.
The problem is the same whatever theme I use, so it’s not theme-related.
Another strange thing is that the title is underlined.
I’ve pasted the content in a new post, then the content frame stopped right under that post and all the other posts were ou of frame .I’ve changed the graphic content and the problem persists.
Does anyone know what could cause this?
    My testblog is: http://flush.awardspace.com/blog
the post is the first one down the page.

    up

This is the place for this question, but it’s also a place that calls upon the kindness of strangers, so please be patient and don’t bump. I don’t use FF and don’t have it installed, so I can only address so much of your question. Really, the big problem is your code. Run it through a validator and clean things up.

On Mac OS X, Netscape 7.2, none of the problems you mention manifest. Looking at your code, though, I see a few things that might make FF freak out a bit. In the “storycontent” of your second entry, there’s a stray DIV and a closing P tag, but no opening one. That’s probably the beginning of what’s causing the page to render so oddly.

When I tried to run your page through a validator (validator.w3.org), it wasn’t able to connect to your page, giving me a 500 error. Saving a local copy of your main page, though, I ran it through and it found 17 errors, ranging from old code to unclosed A HREF tags. Run a check yourself and see if you can clean up the code. Do that and it will probably look a lot better in FF.
