Support » Themes and Templates » Weird font and icon display in IE

  • Hello everyone,
I’ve been using WordPress for some time, but this is the first time I create thread here. I’ve recently downloaded the theme Corp for one of my projects. However I’ve noticed that this theme is not displayed correctly by Internet Explorer. The links on the header and the social media icons on the footer look very weird in IE but everthing seems to be fine in any other browser. I have no idea what’s causing this so I can start looking for a fix.
Here’s the website (under construction): http://vedetele.tk/
    Can you help me?

This theme is very, very old. Last updated about 2 years ago so is probably not compatible with todays standards of web development.

Looking at the support forum for this specific theme, there is only 1 support thread created 7 months ago. I suppose you could try posting it in there for a response: Corp

Alternatively, and maybe a better suggestion is to contact the Theme Developer: GT3Themes

Edit: Just checked the download from WebDesignerDepot – Theme was updated to be compatible with WP 3.6.1 – have a look here.

As a sidenote: Check if Compatibility is on or off in IE.

They answered the message I sent to Support and instructed me to set up my Twitter api details which I did, but the problem wasn’t solved. I regretfully gave up on this theme as it was exactly what I needed except the IE issue. Thank you for your reply and help.

OK, well I’m sorry I couldn’t help any further. Hope you find a more suitable theme for your site! Best of luck!
