   I have the weirdest issues. When some users try to post comments they get a 404 error but I can not reproduce it. Some users get the error and others don't.

   Any ideas???

   404 Errors on comments but not all. I have tried to reproduce it using every browser I can think of from different machines and I cant. yet one of my readers says he continually gets a 404 when trying to post a comment. I cannot figure this out. Anyone?

   Are you using the Subscribe to Comments plugin? If so, it says that it's only compatible up to WordPress version 2.3.1, and so may be acting up. I didn't see anything else obviously wrong.

   I am using that plug-in. It is weird as I cannot reproduce it at all.

   Do you know of any other subscribe to comment plug-in that is more up to date?

   The other possible troublemakers could be a malfunctioning anti-spam plugin or some sort of poor error handling (triggered by a missing commenter email address, etc.) that results in a 404 instead of a proper error message.
