Weight of product instead of quantity

Hi I run a farmshop business and we can sell packs of sausages for example, by quantity, but for the joints of meat the customers would want different weights, so is there a way of changing (only some products) into a weight order rather than quantity
e.g. 1.5kg Pork Leg Joint
